Merlion Lightshow!

Woots, after so long of not blogging!

Do you know Singapore Merlion has recently celebrated its 40th Anniversary @ the Merlion Park?!

To mark this occasion, STB (Singapore Tourism Board) has recently organised a 5-day lightshow performance from 12.9.12 to 16.9.12 with 5-6 shows each day. 

Well, usually I'm not so into such celebration events as it always jammed-packed with tons of people. Nonetheless, this is one of the rare occasions that I actually went! To be exact, I dragged my friend and SO (due to some circumstances)... 

Anyway, we went on a Saturday. We reached close to 9pm and tried to wait patiently for the show at 9.15pm. Surprisingly, the crowd (tourists and locals) is not as bad as I thought.

While waiting, it's always the usual... Snapping photographs here and there.

The lightshow performance was actually pretty good. I liked the way they used pyrotechnics, 3D projectors and sound to pull together the act. Especially the changing "animated" effects on the mascot and the idea of having dancers dancing to the rhythm on the podiums.

On a negative note, there was a slight speaker/audio issue at the initial part. PS I'm just being a perfectionist, others may find the audio perfectly fine. And I guess the lightshow would have been better if they had 2 giant LED screen instead of 1. From my position, I seriously can't catch much of the video played at all. 

That aside, I must say the lightshow was really amazing. =D

Not Enough Time!

Just as my post title says it all, not enough time!!!

Ok time flew by and pass so fast and before I realised, it's already October! And 1st news update for everyone if you don't already know, I signed up for my part time degree in MDIS and 1 semester just went pass like that!!! 

Okay, here's a random doodle in class..

Looking back it feels like 'damn, so fast!?', but during the study days it's really hard! I got to salute people who managed to endure and went through successfully.. Studying and working at the same time is really no joke. Time management and essay writings are major headache for me. Lucky I stopped my dance lessons, if not I'll probably die struggling. It's my semester break now but sadly it's already coming towards the end.. Gosh, have to prepare myself for more battles! 

I believe some might not know, I changed my workplace! It's so far away from my home now, but I'm glad it's near my campus. Spent most of the weeks with 4days booked for night class.. New working environment new colleagues new rules and new experience! Other than the constant lack of sleep and busy assignments, everything has been great. And now my work schedule is getting more packed each day but still, it feels good. =D

Oh and my collection of things grew <3

Shall not cramp everything in 1 post, I'll start from the latest then track back with u!

N my latest non-cosmetic purchase is..... tadaaaa~ Fuji Instax Mini films

Shared orders with one of the cotter and Yus. 100 pieces of coloured films cost only $98.80! Can you imagine? It's so much cheaper as compared to retail prices, and further more it's coloured! I got myself 40pieces = 2box of 2packs films ($36.50) and the instax film album (64slots iirc) at $13.90 as well. It's free shipping! ^-^ *rubs hand/palm* Gosh, I cant wait to start using them!

KALs, SO & food!

Ok! After blogging my cosmetics loots, now i'm here to blog my life~ it's so japalang sia.

Oh I'm gonna start with food!! *Burps* Went to ION Watami.

Scallops!

Forgot what is this.. But apparently SO says it's enough to fill up his stomach, looks tiny to me though *oops* wahahh.. 

 Delicious chicken!! Sorry I STM don remember it's name. =X But I remember the longer you boils it, the more salty it will be! Mine was MAD salty thanks to SO.. wahahah

Of course there's yummy icecream brownie to end the meal! 

I've only been there twice, overall it's still <3 and pricing are quite reasonable too. Here's the website!

One day while I left my workdesk, I came back and found this on my table! Asked around and no one knows who is it from or whose it belongs to.. so i ate it and YES it's so YUMMY DELICIOUS~ *flys midway to heaven* 

Moving on, SO went Thailand during end Feb and came back mid March with domokun pouch for me <3

And on the left, that's the nuts I bought for him from HK. Yes, nuts. Lolx

Talking about overseas, this is what happens when he gets more tan than before.

Contrasting right? I was kinda shocked too when we compare our hands.. But yes, i did edit the pic a little but that's to make the colour more accurate.:P

I bet i forgot to mention.. We went Manhattan Fish Market to eat!! during CNY though lolx.. PS i know... It's a super late entry for that...
